Why an Author Program?
Critical Adventures is growing its library of adventures, encounters, and modules, and we want to build it alongside talented writers and designers. The Author Program invites content creators to craft official content that becomes part of the Critical Adventures universe.
Whether you have designed published adventures or you are an emerging creator with great ideas, we would love to work with you.
What you’ll create
- Adventures and one-shots players can run in Critical Adventures
- Encounters, monsters, and story content
- Longer campaign modules and adventure arcs
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience writing published TTRPG modules, one-shots, or independent-system adventures.
- Ability to work within a world bible, narrative boundaries, and technical scene requirements.
- Strong understanding of pacing, fail-forward design, cooperative puzzles, and tactical encounter balance.
- Reliable communication, deadline management, and responsiveness to editorial feedback.
