What is Critical Adventures™?

Same Game, Same Experience - Two Ways To Play.

Physical Event: You play on a provided tablet at the table with a live GM and up to five other players.

Virtual Event: You join from a web browser on a PC/Mac/tablet and connect live with your GM and party.

The adventures, rules, characters, combat, and mechanics are identical, and your character and collection carry between both, so you never keep separate versions or start over.

A Story You See.

The GM leads the adventure while artwork and detailed maps bring locations, characters, creatures, and discoveries to life on every player's screen.

Talk, investigate, and roleplay your way through each scene. Skill checks work like a traditional tabletop game, although you do not see the exact roll.

Every Player Has a Unique View of Battles.

Combat stays fast and tactical, but each player gets their own view of the battlefield:

• Fog of War hides what your character cannot perceive.
• Creature types, names, and health are identified only when your character makes a successful skill roll.
• Your race, your light, and the conditions decide how far you can see.
• Other players may see what you cannot.

Everyone fights the same encounter, but no one is guaranteed the whole picture. Share what you know, combine it, and survive together.

Your Character. Your Legacy.

Create a character, choose your class and individual powers, and improve them as you use them. Every adventure adds to their abilities, equipment, and story.

What You Need.

• Physical events: just yourself. The tablet is provided.
• Virtual events: a PC/Mac/tablet with a current web browser, a microphone, and speakers. A camera is optional, but it makes the table feel real.
• Players must be 18 or older.
